Delete Account

My Game List does not support self-service account deletion within the app. To permanently delete your account, follow the steps below.

How to request account deletion

1. Send an email to support@mygamelist.app from the email address associated with your My Game List account.
2. In the email subject line, write Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your username or the email address you signed up with in the message body.

Once we receive and verify your request, your account and all related data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Data deleted when your account is removed

• Profile information (username, email, avatar)
• Game library and backlog entries
• Ratings and reviews
• Custom game lists
• Play session logs and notes
• Social activity and followers

Data retention after deletion request

Once you submit a deletion request, your data is queued for permanent removal and will be deleted within 30 days. During this period, your account is deactivated and not accessible. No data is retained after the 30-day window.
